Till the wedding do us part
Samenvatting
The bride ́s father is determined to plan his daughter ́s wedding, Mexican style. He won ́t let anyone get in his way, including the bride and groom, who would rather have a modern wedding. Daniel and Maria are very much in love and he ́s willing to do anything to give Maria her dream beach wedding, just like the Little Mermaid and Prince Charming. This will mean war to his conservative in-laws who believe that he doesn ́t deserve their little princess. The young couple fail to change the father ́s mind, so they decide to have two weddings: a family wedding and a friend wedding. Unfortunately, both weddings will happen the same day. The big day comes and the newlyweds are having trouble trying to escape from thier boring family wedding. Then, the annoying guests show up: the ex con brother and his two rascal sons, the celebrity that doesn ́t know how to spend his money, the in-laws. In their despair, the newlyweds realize that the only way to escape the family wedding is by getting everyone drunk so that they won ́t notice their absence. When they finally escape, everything is a mess, but it doesn ́t matter, because they ́re heading to their dream wedding. Or will they...? Their secret wedding is reduced to girls in bikins, sex on the beach, and nightclub music. The atmosphere is completely inappropriate for the occasion. Daniel and Maria realize they have made a big mistake, they want to go back to the family wedding, but it ́s too late. Poncho has brought the entire family to the beach. Everyone is drunk and misbehaving. When Raúl, Maria ́s father, finds out what her beloved daughter did, all hell breaks loose. They all show their true colors. Their only hope will be to put thier problems aside, let go of their pride, and admit each one ́s mistakes.
